Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Government of India (KVIC) pays highest tribute to MahatmaGandhi DAY OF GANDHI JAYANTHI with world’s largest Khadi National Flag (At a height of 225 feet and 150 feet width weighs around 1,000 kg.) displayed in Leh, Ladakh.The Sura-Soi Engineer Regiment was entrusted with the responsibility of bringing the national flag from Mumbai to Leh and also with the task of installing it at the top of the high mountains for the unveiling ceremony.
